Designated Person for Traffic Controller/Flagman/Banksman Training (1 Day)

Whenever work is done on or near the roadway, drivers are faced with changing and unexpected traffic conditions. These changes may be hazardous for motorists, workers, and pedestrians unless protective measures are taken. Motorists may not be able to differentiate between the various types of construction sites and the unexpected dangers in the work zone areas. Hence, proper traffic control measures and safety considerations are required for all types of work both on major long term projects or those of short duration with the aid of traffic controller whereas a banksman is positioned on construction sites so that he has an unrestricted view of the load and the vehicle operator, to give load maneuvering instruction to the pertinent machinery/vehicle operator driver i.e. excavator, crane, compactor, lorries via hand signal or walkie-talkie.
